"Success is a matter of faithfulness, focus on Jesus and His words, and community. If you want to go fast, go alone—if you want to go far, go together."

Calvin Cox - Youth and families director

Calvin Cox is an Albuquerque native raised in a charismatic church. He spent two years on the mission field in Africa and continued short term mission trips in Mexico and Africa. He graduated from Hope Christian School. He is a gifted preacher, chess enthusiast, and the best foosball player I’ve ever had the privilege of losing to. He emphasizes the presence of the Holy Spirit, the importance of students leading in the Church, and the importance of unity in the body of Christ.

“You never have to LEAVE the youth group if you LEAD the youth group.” -Calvin

Kevin King- Worship Pastor

Kevin L King is the Worship Pastor at Vineyard Church, where he leads the congregation in passionate and heartfelt worship of God. He has a degree in Theology and has been involved in music ministry for decades. He plays guitar, bass, and electric guitar, and has experience in leading worship in churches of various sizes, from 20 to 2,000 people. Kevin is eager to help the pastor and preach the Word of God, as well as to help the people and the church grow in the quality and intensity of authentic worship. He believes that worship is not just a musical activity, but a lifestyle of surrender and devotion to God. He loves to see people encounter God's presence and power through worship.

"Worship is not an experience. Worship is an act, and this takes discipline. We are to worship 'in spirit and in truth.' Never mind about the feelings. We are to worship in spite of them." – Elisabeth Elliot

Ana English - Administrator

Ana English helps the Vineyard Church ABQ with all the planning and organization. Ana is Brazilian, graduated in Journalism, and she is a follower of Jesus since her parents presented her to God as a baby. Today, she is blessed with an amazing husband called Lee, who is always supporting our family with love and wisdom.
